JIM BARNARD
Jim and Alisha got married in 2006 and within 3 months, Alisha got terribly sick. This created a giant expectation gap in their lives. Since then, they have endured hundreds of nights in the hospital, dozens of surgeries, 2 near death experiences, depression, and most importantly… God’s good grace in their lives. Jesus gave them a definition for hope in their lives, when it didn’t really make sense.
As an "expectation gap" expert, Jim started tiller coaching in 2020 after working in the local church for 10 years. Serving others as a missionary to intentionally help those who are stuck in the gap and getting lost in the story God is writing in their life. His coaching ministry, tiller, provides “coaching without barriers” where men and couples can be discipled at no cost, believing that if the bar is set too high, those who really need this help won’t be able to obtain it.
SNAPSHOT OF MY MINISTRY:
Jim has written two books—The suffering guy and Made Alive (both are available on Amazon & Audible). He and his wife love sharing their story and are available for speaking engagements, retreats, and workshops.
Jim is currently expanding tiller coaching to bring in new coaches. See Carlos Sanchez, who is also operating under Urban Skye.
