TIM BRYGGER

Tim Brygger, and his wife Sarah, founded the The Tribal Family after Tim graduated seminary, where he earned two master’s degrees: one in Theology and one in Christian Formation & Soul Care. Before attending seminary Tim & Sarah served a stint in Brazil with Cru, Tim worked for a decade as a freelance graphic designer, self-published a book on Christian identity, and collaborated with Focus on the Family on The Family Project: a DVD series regarding God’s design for family. During seminary Tim served as interim director of the Spiritual Transformation and Discipleship Alliance and, through that network, co-led day retreats for ministry leaders. Post-seminary Tim has served as an interim professor at Denver Seminary, and was contracted by the seminary to co-author a booklet for incoming students – equipping them to thrive spiritually in that rigorous academic environment. Tim and Sarah live in a refurbished barn with their six children and one dog.

SNAPSHOT OF MY MINISTRY:

  • The Tribal Family recognizes ‘family’ as the first spiritual community God designed

  • We guide parents in principles and practices for family discipleship which are naturally passed on from one generation to the next

  • We guide parents to create a rich, tangible experience of God’s Kingdom in their homes – ways of living that radiate out into the world
