Urban Skye Publishing, like everything we do, grew naturally out of our common need to find more meaning in our lives. When Urban Skye began in 2003, the Christmas season was looming and our souls were bracing for yet another busy, unspiritual holiday rush.
What we did was to practice Advent and take a fresh look at the liturgical season. Until then, Advent was (for many of us) a memory of bad milk chocolates behind flimsy paper doors; so, we created a guide for ourselves to help our spiritual journeys. Thus, Urban Skye Publishing was born with our first Advent Guide. We continue to offer publications meant to enhance and refresh our spiritual journeys.
